जैसलमेर, जोधपुर, बीकानेर और बाड़मेर से सड़क मार्ग द्वारा रामदेवरा आसानी से पहुँचा जा सकता है। यहाँ के लिए नियमित RSRTC बसें और प्राइवेट टैक्सी रोज़ चलती हैं, जिससे सड़क मार्ग से यात्रा करना तीर्थयात्रियों के लिए सबसे सुविधाजनक विकल्प बन जाता है।

 Baba Ramdevji (also known as Ramdev Pir or Ramsha Pir) was a 14th-century folk deity and social reformer. Ramdevra is famous because it serves as his eternal resting place, where he took Samadhi (conscious exit from the mortal body) in the 15th century.Devotees visit to seek blessings and witness the site of his legendary miracles.

The ancient name of Ramdevra was Runicha (or Runecha). It was later renamed Ramdevra in honor of Baba Ramdevji. Many devotees still lovingly call it Runicha Dham.

It is one of the few pilgrimage sites where both Hindus and Muslims worship together. Hindus revere Baba Ramdev as an incarnation of Lord Krishna, while Muslims venerate him as Ramshah Pir, drawing massive crowds from both faiths.

The modern structural temple complex around the Samadhi was constructed by Maharaja Ganga Singh of Bikaner in 1931.

The grand Ramdevra Fair happens annually during the Hindu month of Bhadrapada, which falls between August and September. Millions of pilgrims from Rajasthan, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, and Punjab travel here—often on foot—to pay their respects.

Temple timings are a common visitor question and are especially useful for people planning darshan.

The best time to visit Ramdevra is generally during the cooler months, from October to March, when the weather is more comfortable for sightseeing and pilgrimage. The annual Ramdevra Fair, held around August–September, is another major time to visit, although the area becomes much more crowded during the festival.

 

Popular places around Ramdevra include Ram Sarovar, Baba Ramdev Parcha Bavdi, Dali Bai Samadhi, Dali Bai Temple and Pokhran Fort. These attractions allow visitors to explore both the religious and cultural heritage of the region.
